Zoanthi Chain

The Zoanthi Chain is the region of space under the control of the Concord of Mutual Disdain consisting of the hexes 1210, 1310, 1410, 1411, 1412, 1510, 1511, 1612, 1712, 1713, 1714, 1715, 1716, 1817, 1818, 1717, 1718, 1617, 1618, 1517, 1518 and 1418. In their ever-present quest of revenge against the Jailers, the Concord has expanded its governmental control over several new and rediscovered planets and species. Pursuing the remnant traces of the Jailers has drawn the Concord to the sector southeast in these pursuits. Forming alliances with other species that have felt the toxic touch of their enigmatic enemies, the Zoanthi Chain shows the Concord's intention to extend their reach beyond their centuries-long isolation on Kardakouk.

Driven by logistical realities and mysteries like the Exhaust Whispers, the Zoanthi Chain comprises two separate clusters of hexes with planetary bodies. Referred to internally as the Northern and Southern portions of the chain (despite Space not being flat), these two sections are further away from each other than the Northern section, especially Kardakouk, which is from much of the core systems. The isolation of the Southern section of the chain is what allowed the Concord to spread their influence there without interference, whilst the Northern chain was established after negotiations with the Assembled Commonwealth to establish borders between the factions along the chain of hexes with planets that lie close to the home worlds of both polities.
