Tonight in Beacon Space is the Sector's premier daily news show produced by Beacon Broadcast TV (BBTV). Syndicated across the sector this show is how most Beacon Space Citizens receive sector-wide news and event updates.
Production
Produced by BBTV, Tonight in Beacon Space is filmed wherever the anchors are located daily in their pursuit of journalistic excellence. With each anchor always having with them a support crew and camera drone swarm production can be ready to film at a moment's notice. More permanent studio locations exist on Telas Station and in BBTV's two twin ships the BBTV Trustworthy and BBTV Independent where an entire addition complement of support staff handle creating graphics, animations, sound bytes, music selection, and anything else needed to keep up the daily production schedule. Each episode lasts one hour and the process repeats every day, except weekends, producing a total of 5 episodes a day every week. Two one-week breaks in production are scheduled every year with each anchor having say over one of the downtime weeks.
