Dragonkin

The Dragonkin Of Starlit Court is a hybrid of two genetic variations combined with space dragon DNA. The Drakken has been mixed with Homo Sapiens Valorous DNA and the Elentarides Zelvo Draconis are mixed with Elentar's native species The Zelvan.

History

A mad geneticist named Doctor Ulrezaj “Emil” Duran created the Dragonkin in a secret laboratory on the dying planet of Elentar. He was trying to create even more powerful super soldiers to defeat his rivals. He spliced the DNA of the Space Dragons held by the Sethdragon Family, into the native Zelvan species, and the Human+. His work was often regarded with skepticism and protest, as he would blur the lines of morality in his pursuit of knowledge in the name of science. Durna created the two distinct genetic lines of dragonkin that we know today.

Culture

Most of their cultural touchstones run parallel to their base species, the only major variation is that they are both very territorial.

Physiology

Drakken

The Drakken is a hybrid of Dragon and Human DNA, This genome resulted in a species not dissimilar to a standard human+, though with many draconic traits and improvements over its native form. Though they closely resemble humans, they cannot breed with normal humans due to their unique biology. Any attempts to do so have led to no viable offspring and as such, it is advised to avoid doing so. The Drakken tend to have stockier builds and on average are a few inches taller than Human+. Their claws contain a neurotoxin known to paralyze those inflicted with it.

Elentarides Zelvo Draconis

A diversion of the standard Zelvan genome, their standard DNA was combined with space dragon DNA, to create a hybrid of the two. Much like their human+ counterparts, the Elentarides Zelvo Draconis are able to breed with their natural-born cousins. In contrast, however, Zelvan+ have developed organs similar to the ones that Space dragons possess that allow them to expel a violent elemental breath. (such as Fire, Acid, Cold, Poison Gas or Lightning.). Due to their scales, they are incredibly durable, and many are able to forgo amour against light arms.
