LiteKnife

Originally developed by the now defunct Krstevski Systems, the LiteKnife has become a ubiquitous mainstay across countless of Beacon Space's weapons manufacturers. A LiteKnife is characterized by its fragile lightweight ceramic blade, which quickly ablates and fractures when used. Despite a limited lifetime, the splinters and shards of a LiteKnife are invaluable at shredding pressure suit systems, and cannot be removed from living tissue without major surgery.
