Grail World: Difference between revisions

▲The world of grail is a unique one, sitting within the temperate band of it’s system’s star, but having a largely molten surface. Due to the presence of ancient powerful pretech devices that have been left active and rampant for centuries, enormous volumes of heat have been vented into the planet’s mantle. These vents, located at several fixed locations on the planet’s surface, have caused much of the surface to melt. The heat produced by these vents have created enormous volcanic tides, shaping the pyroclastic flows of the world into a series of channels.

▲What is truly unique about Grail however are several continent sized energy barriers. These barriers block enormous volumes of heat from passing through them. While technological marvels, they do not perfectly block heat from the volcanic surface. Running along the borders of these zones there are several kilometer wide volcanic nightmare zones before tapering off into more naturalistic habitats.
